Choosing my courses:

Visit the “Courses and Entry requirements” tab on our website to help you make decisions about your course selections. Here you will find all specific entry requirements for all of the courses offered at TSFA. You should aim to select three courses and have a back up option in mind. Check that your predicted grades meet our general and subject specific entry requirements too.

It is also important that you start thinking about what you select to do outside of your core curriculum. We offer a wide variety of fun, sporting, and academic opportunities through our Trinity Enrich programme. Go to the “Curriculum” tab on our website and select “Trinity Enrich” for more information.

You can visit our Padlet which is curriculum resource page which provides more in-depth information from each subject department.

What happens after I have applied?

As soon as you have applied, you will receive an acknowledgement email from our team. Providing you have met our application deadline, your application will be reviewed and you will receive an invitation to an Admissions Meeting.

Admissions Meetings:

We will provide you with as much notice as possible for your Admissions Meeting. The meetings normally last for 20 minutes and are useful for discussing why you have selected your chosen courses, your aspirations for the future and anything else that is relevant. Please ensure you arrive on time and bring a copy of your most recent school report. We will need to see your predicted grades and school attendance score.

Conditional Offers:

You will be informed of the outcome of your application following your Admissions Meeting. Any offer will be ‘conditional’ to you achieving the general entry criteria and the specific entry criteria for your chosen course/s.

If your application for a place at TSFA is successful, you will receive an email detailing the next steps in the enrolment process and regular communication updates.

Enrolment

If you have accepted a place with us, we will email to let you know when your enrolment appointment will take place. This takes place following GCSE results, and further details will be released in due course.
