Joely Knight

I attended Trinity Academy Halifax sixth form from 2015-2017. I studied art, photography and health and social care. Health and social care created the foundations for my career. I am employed at a local hospital Trust as a Trainee Nursing Associate, and funded to study the foundation degree at University. I hope many others can be inspired to work in the healthcare sector, as it is the most rewarding job ever!

We are very proud of all of our 6th Form students.  The level of expectation is high and students are ambassadors and leaders for the main academy.  We have lots of wonderful stories about students being inspirational on a day-to-day basis, both inside and outside of the Sixth Form.

We see 6th Formers supporting younger students on a 1:1 basis, helping staff to deliver sessions, supporting each other through challenging times and performing community and charity work.  Integrity is one of our most important professional standards, and everyday acts of kindness, empathy and support are highly valued and encouraged.
