Choosing my courses:
Visit the “Courses and Entry requirements” tab on our website to help you make decisions about your course selections. Here you will find all specific entry requirements for all of the courses offered at TSFA. You should aim to select three courses and have a back up option in mind. Check that your predicted grades meet our general and subject specific entry requirements too.
It is also important that you start thinking about what you select to do outside of your core curriculum. We offer a wide variety of fun, sporting, and academic opportunities through our Trinity Enrich programme. Go to the “Curriculum” tab on our website and select “Trinity Enrich” for more information.
What happens after I have applied?
As soon as you have applied, you will receive an acknowledgement email from our team. Providing you have met our application deadline of 18 February, your application will be reviewed and you will receive an invitation to a guidance meeting.
We will provide you with as much notice as possible for your guidance meeting. The meetings normally last for 20 minutes and are useful for discussing why you have selected your chosen courses, your aspirations for the future and anything else that is relevant. Please ensure you arrive on time and bring a copy of your most recent school report. We will need to see your predicted grades and school attendance score. We are currently monitoring the situation and would always prefer to hold guidance meetings in person but if this is not possible you will be notified of the alternative virtual arrangements.
You will be informed of the outcome of your application following your guidance meeting (normally within 1 week). Any offer will be ‘conditional’ to you achieving the general entry criteria and the specific entry criteria for your chosen course/s.
If your application for a place at TSFA is successful, you will receive an email detailing the next steps in the enrolment process.
If you have accepted your place at TSFA, you will receive a virtual Personal Progress Tutor and regular communication updates.
If you have accepted a place with us, we will email to let you know when your enrolment appointment will take place. This takes place following GCSE results, and further details will be released in due course.
Our prospectus tells you more about what you can expect at Trinity Sixth Form Academy, including information about how our enrichment activities and first-class facilities will help you prepare for the world of work or higher education.
