Personal Progress Tutors
We offer a unique package of support and as part of this, our students are provided with a dedicated Personal Progress Tutor (PPT).
The role of a PPT is that of an academic and pastoral mentor. Every student meets regularly with their PPT and has access to them throughout the week. The PPT is the ‘go-to’ who develops a unique relationship with students of personalisation and professionalism; offering support, guidance and knowledge in a number of areas where required.
Where specific needs are identified, the PPT will put together a package of bespoke support. This can include subject specific intervention from class teachers to specialist assistance with UCAS applications. The PPTs also lead Trinity+ sessions on key topics such as critical thinking, workshops on independent study, mental health awareness and preparing for future interviews.
