Student Hub
The student hub is an online platform that allows all our students access to any information/resources they need. The student hub has been jointly set up by TSFA staff and our head students.
We meet with our head students each term to ensure the platform is meeting the needs of our students. The student hub is there to support our students’ academic and pastoral journey throughout sixth form.
The student platform gives access to:
- Student and parent guide – A document which explains everything students and parents need to know about our college as well as our systems and processes.
- Trinity+ resources – This section has a variety of posters to educate and support students in a variety of areas such as online safety, radicalisation, relationships, health and well-being etc. This allows students yearly access to key information to support them in their journey to becoming well rounded life ready citizens.
- Assemblies/Trinity Talks – this section ensures that all our students do not miss out on any assemblies/Trinity talks if they are not in the building when they are delivered. Students can log on at any time and watch any assembly/Trinity talk that has happened during that academic year.
- Radio bulletin/newsletter – this section allows all our students to watch the radio bulletins even if they miss Trinity+ when it is broadcast. They can also have a look at each terms newsletter to keep up to date with what is going on throughout the college and share in any college/student success stories.
How to videos. We have created a variety of videos that are categorised into three areas:
- TSFA support – short and engaging videos that help our students navigate the basic skills
needed to be a successful sixth form student here at TSFA. - Life skills – these videos support students to navigate a variety of skills needed in the
wider world and life outside of TSFA, for example, catching a bus and finding
volunteering. - Future ready – a selection of videos to support students with securing their next steps after TSFA.
SafetyNet
TSFA have worked hard alongside SafetyNet to design a webpage accessible to all TSFA students. SafetyNet a range of mental health and wellbeing resources to help students support themselves during their time studying with us. SafetyNet provides a range of resources including the following areas; mental health, lifestyle, relationships, relaxation techniques, available to students.
