SEND Support

Louisa King

SENDCo

At Trinity Sixth Form Academy, the SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) plays a crucial role in supporting students with additional learning needs to achieve their full potential. The SENDCo works closely with students, parents, and teachers to create personalised support plans that address individual barriers to learning, ensuring that each student receives the tailored assistance they need. This includes providing in-class support, arranging specialist interventions, and supporting staff in adapting learning materials to suit different needs. The SENDCo also coordinates with external agencies and professionals to access further resources and expertise, helping students to develop essential skills and confidence. By fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, the SENDCo ensures that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and personally, fully participating in all aspects of academy life.
